Biographies of William Mays (1805-abt. 1855) and Mary Mattingly (abt. 1815-18__)

18. William MAYS, son of Elijah MAYS and Patsy PRYOR, was born in __ ___ 1805 in Bedford Co., Virginia and died about 1855 in Hancock Co., Kentucky. He married Mary MATTINGLY about 1834 in Breckinridge Co., Kentucky.

19. Mary MATTINGLY, daughter of John MATTINGLY and Sarah _______, was born about 1815 in Breckinridge Co., Kentucky.

 

They had five identified children:

  1. William G. MAYS, b. __ ___ 1837 in Breckinridge Co., Kentucky; d. __ ___ ____ in _______ Co., _________; Md. __ ___ 1858 in Hancock Co., Kentucky, Abigail MORIN.
  2. Mahala Ann, b. Abt. 1839 in Cloverport, Breckinridge Co., Kentucky; d. __ ___ ____ in ______ Co., _______; Md. George S. LINDSAY, 06 June 1855, in Hancock Co., Kentucky.
  3. Rebecca Mays, b. __ ___ 1848 in Breckinridge Co., Kentucky; d. __ ___ ____ in ______ Co., _______.
  4. Mary Mays, b. __ ___ 1852 in Breckinridge Co., Kentucky; d. __ ___ ____ in ______ Co., _______.
  5. Martha Louise Mays, b. 12 August 1856 in Breckinridge Co., Kentucky; d. __ ___ ____ in ______ Co., _______.
